Starting Off

Ok. This is my first blog ever, so I'd just like to dedicate everything that I post to my wonderful, beautiful wife Jessica. I love her so much that I can't even describe. I'd like to use this blog as an outlet for my creative and artistic abilities in the form of poems. I'll also address any comment made on here when I get the chance to. I will also update this blog whenever I can. A little background first.
I first met my wife when I was a freshman in college. I met her on the internet (so trust me internet CAN work, you just have to be careful). After a few months of just talking to her through aim, we exchanged phone numbers and kept in touch. A few months LATER, I started to realize that I was beginning to fall in love with not the physical features (as we hadn't met yet), but more the personality. The way she talked, how passionate she was about some of the same issues as I, she was just a very nice person to talk to. She is one of those people who are easy to talk to and you just feel more comfortable around her.
So, after a bit of talking on the phone, we decided to meet. We met and it was just magic. We hung out for awhile, and I just KNEW that this was the one. We moved in with each other, all the while falling more and more in love. After about 3 years of knowing one another, we decided to get married. We didn't have much money at the time, but we took what we had, went down to the courthouse, and tied the knot.
9 Months later, we were parents. Being a dad is one of the best things I have ever experienced and I'm so glad that I get to experience it with my wife. We actually plan on getting REmarried in the spring/summer sometime after I finish my second AIT (Advanced Individual Training). Yes I signed up to go into the Army and am now going Active Duty (still don't know where I'll be stationed at so don't ask). I will try to post pictures of my family on here but it will be kinda hard since I don't have a scanner, camera, or computer of my own.
Well, thats about it as far as the speed posting goes. My son is now 1 and I can't wait to see what the years ahead hold for my family.
